Extended Warranty from Wholesale Warranty
Still getting estimates for an extended warranty. Has anyone used Wholesale Warranty? If so, what has been your experience with them?
They gave me a quote last night for an Allegiance Warranty thru General Fidelity. It's a 4 year contract, $50.00 deductible for $1,465.00. Has anyone had the Allegiance Warranty thru General Fidelity and were you satisfied?
Thanks,
Jim & Marge

this is what I received from that company the other day, I have a few others I have to check out for prices. but it looks very good as of now.
I have been shopping the rates of several different companies, and I believe this Allegiance Warranty has the most competitive rates for the best coverage possible on your particular vehicle. Please keep in mind that this offer is valid for a limited time only. The pricing for an Exclusionary Extended Warranty policy on your Travel Trailer is as follows:
$100 deductible
4 years $300 down and 18 monthly payments of $64.16 = $1,455
take an additional $100 off when paid in full =
4 years = $1,355
(average of $28.28 per month of coverage)
*offer expires on 2/18/2011

You have to get a copy of the contract read it and understand it. What does it cover??is is inclusionary or exclusionary? How does it pay the repair facility.?? So many things to understand...

I agree with Richfaa, I have a copy of what is not covered by Wholesale Warranty Ins. another thing to keep in mind is does the state you live in recognise that company? in California where I live most insurance companies have regulations and are enforced by the insurance commission of california, you can buy insurance anywhere you want but do they meet your states insurance standards.
As this letter of relese I was sent from another Insurance Co.

It is imperative that the contract is fully understood. The vast majority of Extended warranty complaints according to BBB is because the consumer did not understand the terms and conditions of the contract. we have used our extended warranty..and understand that these are not extended warranties but service contracts, several times without issue because we understancd what we need to do in order to comply with the terms and conditions. It is just a matter of understanding and no different from any other policy or service contract.

I have been looking over the Allegiance RV Care Service agreement that Wholesale Warranty sent me. The administrator is Autoguard Advantage Corporation, I looked them up on the Web because I assume they would be the ones that we would deal with. They do not have the BBB accreditation. They have been rated an "F". Here is the link to check it out. As Rich and so many have said there is so much to look at, it is overwhelming.

Here is exercise that I do when purchasing a product. If I see two products that appear to be very similar or identical but one product cost much more than the other. Example if one product cost 300.00 more than the other but "appears" to be the same we concentrate on what we are getting for the extra 300.00. This is why we have a Montana 3400 instead of a Jayco designer 34LRQ. The designer was way more than the Montana and we did not see where the extra $$$$$ were.....It works.
