In our new 3400RL, long post

Well, we are now back in Apache Junction, Arizona with our new 3400. We arrived at our dealer last week to pick it up. Stayed at the dealers for 3 days checking out everything. Left last Sunday and went to Sioux Falls, SD and registered everything there. Left there Monday morning in a snow storm and went to Custer, SD for two nights. Left there headed for Apache Junction on Wednesday, stopped for the night in Pueblo, CO at KOA south. A super nice campground with really friendly host. Left there on Thursday morning and stopped for the night at the Dancing Eagle Casino and RV Park outside of Albuquerque, NM. 50 amp hookup with water, $10.00 a night. Left there this morning and arrived in Apache Junction about 3:30. The trailer tows excellent, unlike a few earlier post about having to light of a pin weight. I went to Sears and bought the stackable washer and dryer and installed in the unit when we were in Missouri and they work great. So far no major problems found. A few minor things, fit and finish items. After being in it for a week now, we have found a few things that we wish we had ordered differently. We ordered the optional shower instead of the shower tub combo, not a good move as the shower is very small. We had the tub/shower in our 3655 and never needed the tub so we thought the shower would be the same size except no tub, wrong, not even close. Not as much storage in the 3400 as we had in the 3655 either, inside or outside. Smaller room for the toilet and the 3400 has a different toilet, not as good as the 3655. No storage at all in the toilet room. I have installed a storage cabinet in there allready myself. Also there is no sewer hose holder of any kind on the unit. Will build one myself later. Well, that's it for now, will spend 2 months here in Apache Junction and then head for Glacier National Park for our hosting job.
