Grease Spatters

I love my 3160 but hate the material they used for the backsplash! It's very hard to clean, particularly when needing to clean grease spatters around the stove.

I wanted to share my quick tip for dealing with this issue. I went to the dollar store and bought 3 foil oven liners. I stand one up behind my burners and then one on each side. The grease spatters are really easy to clean off of them once I'm done cooking and they fit perfectly in the spot under the sink designed for the sink covers.

We solved it a different way. We never fry anything. And we cook bacon between layers of paper towels in the microwave.

Quite a few folks have replaced their backsplashes in various models over the last few years with backsplash material from the big box stores. Very easy to install and looks great.
