Anyone NOT Going to The Rally? ......Sign in here

I sit here and read about all the wonderful preparations for the
big rally coming up next month and feel sorry for myself because
we can't attend.

I wonder if we are going to be the only ones left here keeping the
campfires burning?

Anyone else who isn't going to the rally please check in here because misery loves company.

And....will someone who is going to the rally please tell the
Keystone factory hello from "D and M On The Road".
Thank you.

Sorry to say, that we will not be able to go to the rally. Didn't become a member until I had already used too many vacation days. We got our 3295RK in June. So I guess you won't be the only ones keeping the campfires burning.

We will not be attending as we run our own campground and marina in the summer and only travel in the winter. Maybe someday.

Due to health problems we won't be able to make it. I will be sitting here waiting for any little tidbit of news on how things are going.

We won't be there either--used up all those vacation days already and have no more coming. DRAT! Guess we'll all just have to do our best to keep MOC up and going--and hope that maybe people will have pity on us and check in once in a while to tell us what is going on. We are actually a very unbecoming shade of green.

I feel the same way. I would love to be there and see what other people have done to their rigs and meet everyone. But work is how we are paying for the Monty so guess that is a good tradeoff. It will be several years before we can go. I get 5 weeks vacation but have trouble getting away for any long time. I hope some of the people have internet access so we can have a daily briefing. Pictures too!

We won't be going either and are very envious. Still working and using vacation time to move some things to Texas...getting ready for the big move next summer when I retire. Then it will be full timing and we can go to the next rally. Would love to see all those Montanas and meet all you wonderful contributors. Next time!! I agree..someone please let us know what is happening while the rally is going on.!!!!
Happy Trails... Myrna and Bob

Only get a couple of weeks without punching the clock each year. Pigeon Forge and Destin (wife's choices) takes those up. Unless the members vote for a site in the Southeast region, it will be 2008 before we can attend. Hope everyone going has a great time.

If everyone decides to do it again next year we will shift things around so we can make it. Wife can get Fri - Tues off but that will be a haul to do it there and back and still manage to enjoy the trip.

Sadly, we also will be here at home pouting about not being able to meet all the folks, missing out on the great food and the Montana modifications.

We will be missing you all. Most likely someone will be "connected" so you can get all the lastest news and pics.

Prariepoodle - Will remember you in our prayers for improved health. Was looking forward to seeing first hand how you did your bed skirt. You seem to be so creative and wanted to bounce an idea off you on what I wanted to do with our "box".

We won't be making it to the rally. With both of us working and September being the busiest month of the year at my job...just can't get away. I'm so excited for everyone that is able to go...I'm green with envy!

Count us in on the misery!
We won't be there either. We would love to get to one and hope to soon. We agree we'd like the info on dates and places ASAP for planning purposes. So in our sadness guess we'll just go out and RV somewhere!
