First Trip in the Mountains

Our second outing was to Loon Lake, BC it is about 5hrs from home up through the Fraser Canyon. The Monty pull like a dream, there are many step grades. We did not bog down as I thought we would with this weight. Of coarse we had to come down those grades on the way home. This gave the PacBrake and the Torq Commander a workout and it held very well on the hills only having to touch the brakes once in awhile. It was a learning experience and gave me more confidence in taking this unit on any trip.

Sounds like you really gave it the True Test, up those steep grades and back down again. It definitely is a learning experience that will build more confidence.

Glad you had a good time.

Don,

Sounds like you had a great 'break-in Trip'.
Good thing it wasn't up Hwy 5-Coquihalla.
15cm (6") of that fresh white fluffy stuff.

End of June???? What happen to global warming?
