Does anyone tow a harley?

I passed SOB on the freeway the other day, he had a full bagger Harley on the back of his 5th wheel. He had the front tire up in a slot on the receiver and the back wheel was on the pavement. This would make it easy to bring the bike with us. Has anyone done this.

If you still have an 04 Montana, I would not do it. When we got our 07, the dealer said to put nothing on the back except maybe a bike or two.

That swivel wheel trailer that just popped up in the new posts would probably work great for your HD.

Yeah I know, I was reading about them a few hours ago. I guess they aren't considered a trailer because they are considered a exstension of the frame?? I was looking on the swivel wheel site at the 1000 lb. rating with one tire for a little over 2 grand. I just inquired about the one posted on here. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

In reference to towing Harley-Davidsons:

I heard somewhere that out of all the Harley-Davidsons ever built, that 96% of them are still on the road.

...and the other 4% made it home. So, I imagine that quite a few of them are indeed being towed.

=O)
