Just a heads up Jack:

I took the time to send a bunch of pictures to Keystone customer service (the name provided in my e-mail to you) about all the warranty work required and damage to repair in hopes that the parts will all be there for a quick repair. Well guess what, we may have to wait two more week here for parts to come in. There are no spare parts in Pendleton for the Montana. Once your appointment is set up and if it is with Bob P give him a call and send any info you have to help him out to get your repairs done in a reasonable amount of time. I relied on Keystone customer service (the name provided in my e-mail to you) to do this for me and it did not get done.

Gary,
Just thought I would let you know I have been talking with Keystone in Elkhart this morning and they are in the process of setting me up with an appointment in Pendleton to address our frame/interior wall issue. Thanks for your postings and detailed information on this subject. I sincerely hope that anyone else having this issue is able to reach a satisfactory conclusion.

We have a 2003 2575RL Montana and we are experiencing frame flex problem. Our front is separating around where it curves. We are having problems with the Insurance Company covering the repairs. They say it is normal wear and tear. Does anyone know who we can contact in Elkhart, Indiana to help with this problem. Name and phone number would be helpful. We are from Texas and are in Key West right now. Is it even worth traveling there? We really don't know what to do at this point. Karen Allums

The wall in my closet has pushed the staples out twice. I used shoulder screws but to no avail, pushed them out also.

Karen,
Even though your rig is out of warranty, try contacting Keystone Customer Service and explain the issue to them. They may be able to cover the repair or assist you in dealing with the insurance company. Their number is: (866) 425-4369. Good luck.

Karen,
You have already gotten some good advise and I hope you will contact Keystone. I can't imagine ANY company would believe that a real frame problem is "normal wear and tear". A frame of almost any age should NOT flex too much and certainly should not normally break! If Keystone won't make it good for you then certainly your insurance should!

Good luck and keep us informed. It will be very interesting to see how things evolve. Dennis

On my first Monty I had a frame weld break. The symptom was seeing the trim piece at the corner on the left side pull away from the corner when I was hooked up. I looked inside the LP tank door at the frame and saw the break. I also had a similar problem that EXAV8TR had in the kitchen which was fixed by Keystone. Look at the panel when hooked up and when not hooked up. That might help you determine if there is a frame issue.
