BTW, don't demonstrate the auto retract feature if your TV is not hooked up. If you do, press cancel quickly. :-)
I think you would have 6 legs coming up and your unit will set on the ground???

While it isn't recommended to "Auto Retract" when not hooked up to the truck it is not a problem. I watched a PDI guy with a Montana dealer do it (twice) while checking out a new Montana. Obviously he was unfamiliar with the Level-Up system.
The front jacks retract to their normal position which does lower the nose considerably. But is is still way off the ground. The rear jacks are immaterial as they just get out of the way. Remember there are still wheels supporting the bulk of the RV. I have camped in spots with a lot of slope to the rear where the front jacks where almost fully retracted.
The moral of the story is you won't hurt anything should you accidentally do Auto Retract when not hooked up.
