Fireplace

This weekend we were at the Cedars RV Resort in Ferndale, WA. We had the furnace on and also the fireplace. The furnace hardly ever cut in when we had the fireplace electric heater on. The Montana was very warm all weekend.

We even use a small ceramic heater in the bedroom and enjoy comfort without using our propane. We love it. You do need a 30 or 50 amp hook up though.

The fireplace runs on a standard plugin. I like the fireplace as you don't have worry about where to put the heater.

I didn't have a fireplace on my 2003 Big Sky. I didn't see any need for one. A fireplace came with the new 2008 Big Sky and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. It does give out what Dianna calls "cosy heat" and great asthetics. Now I can easily recommend a fireplace. But it is personal preference after all.
