Filling up at small gas stations

Has anyone ever been getting low on fuel so you end up using a small gas station and just as you are pulling into it, a jerk in a small car pulls in front of you and there you sit, with your trailer out in traffic and nowhere to go. This has happened to me several times and in one case I had to sit like this until the guy filled his car up.

In Canada in a situation like this, I am a little more outspoken about people being rude and inconsiderate but this was California and it is not worth getting shot so I kept my yap shut.

This is one of the reasons I like a big auxilary tank. You only have to fill at truck stops and you can relax because you have more than enough fuel for the day's drive. With gridlocks, grades and wind , you can never really predict your mileage exactly so the piece of mind of an extra tank is worth the cost IMO.

Been there, I try and carry extra fuel just in case I get low and can not find a gas station large enough to handle us safely.
