Here is the web-site with the service manual. Cable Kits are available from Amazon and others. Even though the warranty is out, I would still give a call to the manufacturer as well as Keystone, in the event they decide to step up to the plate and cover the repairs. Web-site:
Cable Slide Site
Amazon Kit
Hope this helps,
Bingo

JMO-I would think it will be covered. Not the first cable failure I've read about. This is why I don't mind giving up a bit of storage to have hydraulic on ALL slides.

I would think with the number of cable situations out there that Keystone should step up. I believe they've made some changes lately to eliminate most of the problems, but they need to step up for the original rig owners.

As mentioned by myself and others on here before, some if not all cable problems are due to Frame Flex, slide frame moving up and down during travels cutting into the cable, might want to check for this issue, many posts on here about this issue...Our trailer is at the Keystone plant in Or. for the second go around with Frame Flex...

To OP: Driverside Living room slide got tangled up into a mess. I contacted Montana sent photos and they covered it at 17 months of ownership. I felt it was a incorrect installation. Talk to tech at Keystone and ask for manager. Have photos to back up your claim. They treated me great. Be aware extended warranty by Good Sam would have covered that!

Boy Howdy ... with all the cable issues, frame issues, and sidewall cracking issues recently posted on the MOC concerning the front living room units, I'd say stash your cash and just admire them at an RV show till someone gets the bugs worked out of current model years. They cost too much to be miserable owning one. Although way too long for my personal interest, I will admit front living room models just have that "buy me" appeal.

Have not had a single problem with ours. I feel okay posting that since I cannot jinx myself because the next trip is the trip to trade it in for the next front living room model! Keep in mind that four or five problem rigs seem like a lot as posted on the forum, but how many are out there that have not exhibited a problem. It does not lessen the pain for those experiencing the problems, but we really have no way of knowing how widespread the problems are, just that they are reported on the MOC.

You may want to check you slide frames to see if you have any separations like you will see in this thread. http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ad.php?t=55388
You will also see Bingo's Pics of his slide frames, that appear to be in pristine condition.
You will need to pull the slide wipers off the frame if you want to see if the cables are rubbing on the frames which will cause them to fray and break.
I had to investigate this on my own because the unit is out of warranty and the dealer did not want to invest any time into it without a guaranty that Keystone would cover it under warranty.
It appears Keystone has repaired some units out of Warranty for this and other issues, wish you well .
