3000RK Loaded Weights

I pulled in to get some diesel over the weekend and noticed the scales in the back of the truck stop. I didn't have any food in the fridge but I do have the pantry stocked. Tanks were completely empty. I did have a full tank of diesel at the time of the weigh.

steering........4220
drive ..........6020
trailer.........8500
total weight...18740

If you have a 3000RK lets compare weights.

well we have a 3000rk and your weight on the 2 axels is good empty at 8340 and once at 8600 and full at 10140 with supplies but no water or tanks but you will find if you weigh the axels seperate the front axel weighs in at 5980 lbs and the rear at 4600 lbs so the 5200 lb axels are not heavey enough as i had mine changed to 6000 lb axels so now i am just in the pink as they say... My unit is a 06 also so i don't know what year your unit is john i am digging through old paper work as i think the rear axel cares 5980 and the front 4600 lbs , that is why my rear axel went straight

I pull with a 2000 ram 2500 and I run 4500 on the front 5800 on the rear and the trailer axels are 8800. Trailer was loaded for the summer with a full tank of water and propane.

2008 3000RK loaded for vacation, tanks empty. 2006 Dodge 2500 SWB full fuel, no people.
steering 4160#
drive 5440
trailer 8700
truck alone
steering 4320
drive 2860
Note steering lighter with trailer, had hitch placement checked, was right where Husky said it should be.

Waldo: 15-20% is on the pin not the trailer axles so when you weigh the trailer hooked up it should weigh that much less.
