The fuse for the Hot Water Heater keeps blowing ---- any ideas of what may be causing this? Les

Les,

Are you talking about a 12 volt fuse or 120 volt breaker ?

Les and Julie, are there any other appliances connected on this circuit that might be pulling to much voltage? If not you may have a faulty heating coil that is shorting out and tripping the breaker. Has the water heater been turned on without any water in the tank, this is a sure fire way to burn out the element. Check these two things out.

Thanks guys --- replaced the heating element --- it was "blown" -- everything is working great now. We appreciate your help.
