Shrinkage

I have shrinkage......outside molding has shrunk during winter storage. Maybe when it warms up it will expand again not sure or is this a sign that maybe structural problems arising, it’s happening on both sides, any thoughts, comments, opinions would be welcome.

Just press it back up and into place. If in the sun, it’ll probably stretch/move into place with little effort.

I picked up a roll of that plastic insert material a couple years ago and replaced ours as it had shrunk too much. It's not very expensive and was easy to replace. This is the link, and it shows the price to be $.50 per foot. http://www.trekwood.com/products/607...3-4-6058-Black

I ordered 50` roll from dealer a fews ago for my last TT,was very easy to replace on whole camper. But do need to get a roll of the Black color for my new 5er.

Sounds like a personal problem! No just kidding, this happens in the exact same spot every year on our 3440RL, the vinyl just can't handle our Wisconsin winters. When she warms up just slide it back in the rail and away you go!

Like others have said just shrinkage but on SOB they have gotten away from that style of joint and or have came up with a better product that does not have to be replaced every year.

When I replace vinyl inserts I try to compress it instead of stretching it in place. Make it as long as you can and still get it in. Seems to help.
