Taking curl from French Doors

My French Doors developed a curl that wouldn't allow the doors to close properly. After taking the doors down, I stretched a string to see how much curl there was as shown with roll of blue tape. I took a long board and clamped it at both ends. Then I routered a slot on both doors and placed a piece of flat steel in slots using adhesive. Rehung the doors and the closing was almost perfect. The doors still had a slight arch, but it works better then before. Hope this helps someone.
