Not a diesel forum but ...

Pulling a Montana 3730 FL up I-70 through Vail towards Glenwood Springs, the turbo charger on my 2015 Ram 3500 SWB was registering over 50% and seemed to be stuck on - even when descending with only the engine brake to slow us down. I am pretty new to diesels and really ignorant on turbo chargers in general. It is the 6.7 cummins engine. The truck performed really well, but I wasnt sure if the turbo charger was getting ready to explode - sounded like a jet engine - which was pretty cool, but it was scaring the DW. It finally started behaving when we got down the other side. Should I be concerned? Still got a long way to go.
Thanks,
Max
