Replacing that old awning fabric . .

I've done this before on a couple of RV/trailers, so I figured I could handle doing it on our Monty. Viewed a couple of YouTube videos and it all looked the same save for the way up high and motor parts. Did everything like I should, BUT thought I'd blocked the left hand spring when I hadn't. Scraped a small amount of paint and skin (no blood!), but then had to find out how to wind the thing back up again. Have the original manual - no help. Sent an email to Dometic A&E customer service, and then started searching on the internet. Took about ten minutes and found the attached. 8 turns, clockwise, put the whole thing back together and it works great.

THEN got an email from Dometic that they couldn't find the series number in their database. I sent a reply that it was the mounting hardware number and the roller was a 9100. They came back saying 9 turns - I sent the same manual back.
