Ours works quite well and is a little faster than our old S&B oven. You just have to experiment with them and see how it works with what you want to bake. Ours is a dometic and they have used several different models and manufacturers over the years so you may be able to get a more exact answer if you tell us what kind you have.

The DW bakes and makes stuff like meat loafs and likes it very much, we got a brochure with our Frigidaire brand that helped with the basics, we think you will like it.

I use it a lot instead of the gas oven--actually works about the same. the instructions that came with it are pretty basic but it does cook a little faster than a regular oven. use same temps and the shortest time listed in recipes and you should do fine,,just practice. large pans fit on the shelf and need to be rotated half way thru. smaller pans fit on the rotating shelf--use metal "rack" on it

Me and my wife had never had one before either so we had to read the manual a few times to get the hang of it ,she has done a lot of baking with it roasted chicken etc.. it works well but my wife is more comfortable using the oven (with no freak'in temp gauge or light...Stupid)

Ours takes a little longer to cook. If cookies say 12-15 ninutes, I bake for 15-18 minutes. If something else says 25 minutes, I bake for 30 minutes. It still works well and we love to use it. Keeps the trailer cooler on warm days that the gas oven.

Go online. Lots of videos. Put in your make and model and get even more info. I love ours and make everything. Will bake two potatoes in 1/2 time. Once your hooked, you might never use the gas oven. This is a good start!

I use the convection mode quite a bit during the warm Summer months. This was my first experience with a convection oven and I have to say I do like it! It doesn't heat up the rig like the propane oven. We're full-timers and don't eat out that much, so I cook most of the time. During Winter, I'll use the propane oven more since having a bit of extra heat in the rig is a good thing when there's two feet of snow on the ground. Have fun with it!
