trouble in hooking up lights

Can hook up lights but when I hook the monty up with the lights on the right blinker well not work. But when I turn off the lights the right blinker works fine. Changed all the bulbs and the left side works fine lights on our off. Help

check ground wire on the trailer side plug and if okay check it at the junction box inside pin box. Also look at tail light wires, sometimes the screw holding the light to the trailer is also the ground.

As noted above, whenever I have trailer lights acting goofy the first place I look is the ground

When I did that, all I could see was dirt, some sticks, couple of cigarette butts, and a few ants crawling around. ...then I had to check the wiring on the trailer to get the lights working again.

rich, Take the plug apart on the truck. I had light problems and the small pins inside it were corroded. Water had gotten into it . Bill

Had the exact same problem last year. Took bulbs out, cleaned up a bit of corrosion, cleaned the connector to the truck (male and female ends) and the problem was solved. Good luck!
