5 wks. to send a tire on a warranty order?!?!

Come on Keystone...Really?!?!
As per my previous posting, careless work by Keystone left "sharpies" through the floor that ended up ruining the spare on my Montana while it was secured in place.
My dealer ordered a replacement 2 weeks ago yesterday, and today upon my enquiry, I find out the estimated delivery date is Aug. 17th! Good grief! That's ridiculous and too long to be without a spare.
I'm calling customer service tomorrow, but I'm not betting on much.
I think I'll put a plug in the hole, as any spare is better than no spare. No tire dealer would ever plug a high-sidewall puncture, but I can do it. It should hold until I can get the trailer to a tire dealer.

Too bad the dealer couldn't source the tire locally and bill Keystone.
Keystone must have a government business model. Unacceptable!

And it maybe that the dealer has a trailer being delivered on or about August 17, and Keystone is going to throw your tire in that trailer to save shipping. They do it all the time. I have seen toy hauler come in with all kinds of warranty stuff in the garage, especially furniture, such as tables and chairs.

At least you have a estimated delivery date. I had two cracked front door hinges, ordered on 30 June, and the dealer as of yesterday cannot tell me when they will show up, indicating part orders are frustrating slow. Understand you do not want to travel without a spare, a bit more important then a cracked hinge.
