Do yourself a favor and invest in a good REAL bike. You won't be happy with those make believe or Walmart bikes. Believe me I found out the hard way.

I do see your point and I have a new Diamondback. But the only time we travel with bikes is from RI to Sanibel and it is so level there that a good bike might not be crucial.

I have the twelve speed from Camping World. Because of my health, I'm selling it. $60.00. They're not a good choice if you are unsteady getting around.

Just bought two folding ebikes, very light and easy to fold. So easy to ride with electric assist and you can just use it as a straight bike if you want or just electric as well. Bought a 7 speed New Yorker with fat tires so it rides better and can handle trails. Both fit in large front storage area of the Monty 3790RD

Four years ago we each bought folding bikes. The DW kept hers, which was the 6-speed, until this month. It was a rusted piece of garbage and we sold it for $25.00. I had gotten rid of mine a year after buying it and bought a "big boys bike". If you don't need a bicycle very often and can keep them out of the elements then one of the CW folding is probably okay, but rather expensive for what they are.
