Central Vacuum Installation Location?

We just took delivery of a High country 375FL. Some of you have central vac's. We intend to do extensive traveling and there is no good storage space for our Shark Upright. Where do you install the Central Vacuums in a Hgh Country and do the Work?

I have one in my rig. If you install be sure to get a power head. But remember you still have to store the hose and power head. We never use ours.

Don't know what exact model you've got, but we can break our Shark down and take it even though we've a central vac. The central vac has the suction of a car vac, no beater bar and is next to worthless as we've got two dogs. The Shark on the other hand will suck up anything (and a lot more if you're not careful!) and is a whole lot easier to use.

Ours came with a central vac and we added a beater bar and it still sucked (pun intended). Got a portable Shark like this at Sam's at a great price and it breaks down and stores in the old cabinet where the central vac was installed and it really gets the dirt up: https://www.amazon.com/Rocket-Ultra-...s=shark+vacuum

Ours came with a central vac also. It's mounted in the front storage area on the door side. Works fine for us. Of course we have no pets, don't travel with kids and don't wear shoes inside.

Our came with one that we use exclusively. It is located in the center island and we store the hose and tools under the couch in the pull out drawer.

Our first Montana (2008) was purchased new from dealer stock and had a central vacuum. Our current Montana (2012) was custom ordered by us and does not include a central vacuum because we learned from the first one that even though they have a fair amount of suction they suck! Our $29 Dirt Devil upright from Wal Mart does a much better job and doesn't take any more space than the central's attachments did.

The central vac in ours has good suction but did not come with a power head. Ordered one for $80 and it's worthless. Barely turns the brush and when put on the carpet it stops.

Our 2015 3440Rl came with a central vac and it works well, no problems, no animals, no kids either.
