Reasons why towing is better than not

My DW suggested this thread and is offering these initial reasons:

1. There's a cold drink and snack near at hand, and you can get them without inserting dollars in slots.
2. When you have to go there is always a toilet near at hand.
3. Your butt doesn't have to hover over a filthy toilet seat that appears to have been used by 1,000 unwashed persons before you.
4. You don't have to worry that the previous person to use the bed brought bed bugs with them.

Those reasons alone were enough to convince her that RVing was the lifestyle for us. However we'd love to see more reasons on the list!

Your home is always with you!
When you get there you disconnect and it becomes your home base until you move on somewhere else.

*face-desk* Why didn't I think of that one myself? That's #5; maybe it should have been #1!

You don't have to pack and unpack each time you get to a new destination...

Hopefully someday you will be able to recoup some of your "room rent".

Agree, I tell people we're go'in camping...then with some hesitation, I correct my comment to say, well I tow the house! My Monty has it all, yes we go to NASCAR Infield camping for 4 days, 4 people, and feel like we are at home...

I pulled the Monty out of storage yesterday at lunch and had it sitting (opened, so I could show it) in the parking lot at my office for the afternoon.

I told people it was "take your home to work day"!

6. You don't have to hunt for a pet friendly motel.
7. Grilling dinner outdoors.
8. You automatically have something in common with the neighbors.

Jan, all good additions! We're at Lazydays Campground in Seffner, FL this weekend with 3 of the dogpack (including our son's - all that is missing is our daughter's dog which is in Canada) so pet-friendly is a major issue!

And we've met new friends who are also in a Monty, same model but newer.
