Replacing failed WFCO 65 converter

Replacing failed WFCO 65amp power converter. What do think is the better replacement.
PowerMax PM4B-75 (75 Amp 4-Stage Converter/Charger)
The power max has a 3 year warranty
PD 9270C 70 Amp RV Converter/Charger
The Progressive Dynamics has a 2 year warranty.

You didn't mention what year unit you have and if it is a new unit, it may be under warranty yet or if you have an extended warranty, it would be covered part way under that. I had one go out while down in Florida three years ago and it was covered by the extended warranty from Good Sam.

You will have to weigh the cost of each, how quickly you need it, and I assume they will both fit the space the old one came out of. I think the new Montana's have been coming with the Progressive units for a while. They do seem to have good support.

Replaced mine with the same unit. Original gave out after 4 years. Replacement fit in the tight space. Not much room back behind wall for modifications. New.one works fine and fan hardly ever runs. Also I replaced all lights with LEDs! Found replacement converter on Amazon for a good price. Ran off solar for the ten days waiting on delivery.
