LCI LevelUp System Manual Mode Question

Here is the situation: you are attempting to level the trailer in the MANUAL mode. Lets say the front to back is ok, now you look at the side to side. When you press say the RIGHT or LEFT, depending on what you need to even it out, I know the two back levelers will move, but does the FRONT landing gear also move so that you are not torqueing the trailer. Just wondering before I cause any damage.

Thanks

The front gear will move. It is a compensating system that equalizes the pressure in all of the jacks, which prevents "twisting" the frame. You will be fine.

RKassl, thanks for the question...and thanks Bingo for the answer. Being new to the Level-up system I am still learning all of it's capabilities.

Took me several trips before I quit using the instruction manual.

I used Manual Mode for 6 trips before "risking" Auto Level....then aborted when it the first time when it raised the rear putting, I thought, "pressure" on the front legs.

Use Auto now and walk away. Love it!

Note: Just be sure to pull your truck away...it will lower the front quite a bit at times an will hit the truck if the truck is not clear.

Love the system!! I am hooking up utilities while it is doing it's "dance". It normally gets done before I do. I hear the beep indicating it is done, finish what I am doing, go to the control panel and turn it off.

One thing I have learned with our Montana's the first was the 2005 and now this new 2015, if I am not sure, ask the MOC someone just about all the time will have the answer.

When I tell folks we meet with SOB about the depth of knowledge on this board they are a little jealous!

The system is great. In fact, I can't think of a time when mine didn't level in 90 seconds or less, and that includes dropping all of the rear legs. Incredible!!

MIMF, you can push the auto level button, lock the little hatch closed, and go about your chores. The system shuts itself off after a short time. Like had been discussed, the two front jacks are plumbed together, as are the two jacks on the left and the ones on the right are also plumbed together. When you have all the jacks down, and raise or lower the front jacks, the fluid moves between each rear set of jacks, causing no harm. If you happen to be on such a slope as to extend the rear jack to the limit, the system will stop and a warning will pop up on the display, when you can either move to a different location or put blocks under the jack that is fully extended.

LOVE my Auto Leveling System! Best invention since sliced bread!

Anyone want to buy some plastic leveling blocks? I don't need them any longer!

I occasionally stay at one park and it is really low on one side. What I do is use the leveling blocks and get it close to level and then I unhook and hit the level switch. Works very well.
