Door Sticks

Picked up our 3791RD today. Super excited.

One issue is that the door is very hard to unlatch and pull open. Can pull the handle but there is so much friction where the latch is...it is hard to open and close.

I am not referring to the way the door has more tension and doesn't swing freely...that's fine.

I would think that your dealer should be able to make an adjustment to either the latch mechanism or the catch to remedy the situation. If it is the door itself that is contacting the frame, that may be a warranty issue for the dealer to address through Keystone.

Could be as simple as a door light switch that won't retract properly, but as Bingo says this is an issue the dealer should fix asap.

Mine is also a bit hard to open. All I need to do is push in on the door a little bit and then pull the latch. I think maybe it is because of the rubber seal around the door pushes it out and puts pressure on the door. I am guessing after a year or 2 it will smush down and the door will open pretty easily.

Ours has been hard to open since day one. Dealer and service center has "repaired " it several times . One of those minor problems not worthy of comment. We just push harder and curse.
