Furnace fan wiring to a switch

I got it wired so I can select a fan 'on' mode, without the furnace running.
Took pictures. Mounted a lighted switch on the control panel.
Just piggy backed onto the power and fan terminals, you can see them in the one picture.
I will install a relay, my wire is a little light, fan pulls 11 amps or so.
I'm glad I got it done finally.

Why would you want the furnace fan to run when not in a heat mode. Must be some good reason but it excapes me.

Yepper!
An RV with cold spots is not a happy RV..............
If you use electric heat, as most of us do, this will help even it out. Also, on very cold evenings it will warm the tanks.
I got some super electric heat, this will be nice.

Now there is a nice mod!

Now that you've been into it, how hard would it be to put in a hi/low switch on that fan?
You could cut it back a ways as long as it didn't hurt the fan.

I think I got in the wrong line of work, electricians have way more fun.

Thanks, Ozzie
It's only a one speed fan on the furnace, unlike the RTU air unit.
It can be fun....at times.

You're right - those links don't work anymore.
But you can find them on the Ozz's Mods link at the bottom of his sig.

Do you mean they come up when accessed on the Ozz's Mods?
I'll look to see where I stuck them.
Here they are again:
