Slideout won't open

We're on the road in arizona and all the way down the kitchen slide won't open. The hydraulic cylinder works but the side furthest from it is not going out. The slide twists apparently because the one side is solid. I can't see any obstruction inside or out. the operating side is off the floor a small bit but the frozen side is sitting right on the floor. Is there a roller or a skid plate under the slide that may have come loose. Any suggestions what else may be the problem? It is a 2008 3605.

There is a balance shaft under your slide that connects to two gear racks on the slide arms. There is a shear bolt at one end. It is probably broken. They are 1/4-20 by about 2" long I think. Since the hydraulic ram is at one end, the balance shaft applies near equal force to the other to make it all work.
Here's an old post with photos

Got the slide fixed, thanks to the RV Traders in Mesa Az. They had no time(booked till mid Feb) but diagnosed it as a siezed bearing assembly. When I took it apart l found that there were 3 missing teeth on the other bearing assembly. Bought new at LifestyleRV in Quartzite and got them for less than others were quoting for ordered parts. Job done!
