I have had 3 tanks fail a Black a Gray, and a Galley. The black tank was my fault. the galley was Cal Trans fault ( depression in Hwy 40 and got air )the Gray leaks when full I believe the reason was the same as the Galley but I cant prove it.
the problem with the tanks are they are made of ABS plastic and cant take the abuse the old fashion hard rubber tanks of years back, they never broke.

We have an '06, 3400RL. Black and galley tanks both had splits in them. Hubby managed to patch both. Fingers now crossed
