Wobbly Dinette Table

We have the pedestal table in our 3150 and it drives me nuts. If you barely lean on it, it moves enough that you grab the glasses to keep them from spilling. Anyone find a fix to the "wobbly Table issue"?

Take it loose from the floor and in the center on the bottom there is a threaded rod with a nut that can be tightened. It should tighten up the wobble.

Thank you I'll give it a try. I have done it once before.

I had to fix mine the way Bingo described. It hasn't come loose but if it ever does I'll back the first nut with a second. Jim

Restaurant operators used to fix that by putting a matchbook under one leg. Now that you can't smoke in restaurants no one has a matchbook anymore

When you remove the screws on the pedestal base to get to the nut is it easy to realign the holes in the role for replacement?

When I did it on our previous model, I used pieces of straight coat hanger to mark the holes and then used some toothpicks in the holes to allow the screws to bite. If it is on carpet, it is easy to line it back up since the carpet will be depressed, I would assume if on linoleum, a few pencil marks would help. Some have just moved the pedestal a little and screwed into a different area. I do not think it is a major concern.

did the same thing on our 2014 3625re removed the 4 screws and turned table on its side and tightened the nut in the center of the base of the table, like other things it wasnt tight at factory or eventually worked loose over the wonderful roads we get to travel on at times, anyway tightened it good and no problems so far.

I got tired of it being in the way, being wobbly & opening up in travel, so we made it portable by removing the attached base and adding a restaurant base. It's made of heavy cast iron, looks nice, and stays put. Saw the idea at the fall rally and easy mod to do. Bud
