Any you guys know (it’s really cold outside and I don’want crawl under the skirting) a: if my 8 lug axles are 7k. ? And what my pin height should be when level? I haven’t installed the patriot hitch yet and am wondering what height I will need to initially set it at. I am figuring I better buy the disc brake kit to install this summer also. Momma better work some O/T 😳. Oh yea, solar, slide toppers, slide trays, etc. 🙈

Yes, your axles are 7,000 lbs rated. I don't know what your pin height should be, but whatever it is at, you should end up with about 6 inches clearance between the bed rails and the bottom of the trailer to allow for movement of the trailer so you don't crush the truck's bed rails. If you are going for disk brakes, why not do the MORryde IS too? and when it is installed, they will make sure your rig is level by adding spacers to the frame where the suspension is installed. She will only need to work a little more O/T to cover all that

I’ll tell her you said that Bob So the brakes no problem for DIY, but what about the I.S. ? The cash savings would cut the bill in half ! Although what I saved on that extended wArranty will pay for all that and the solar, (as soon as she earns it ).

Hey Bob, do you have a hitch on your 5r? Any other mods you can recommend for our 3402’s?
