Retirement

At last retirement has arrived. I believe we are ready to hit the road south. I see by the weather network that we should be abe to leave Nova Scotia on Thursday morning. First stop will be Bangor. Final destination will be Avon Park.

Drive carefully, check the air in those tires, and don't forget to pull the steps up. I can't remember how many times we forgot to put the steps up
Enjoy the new adventure, it will be hard to wipe the smiles off your face.

Be forewarned that the Interstate hwys down here can be VERY expensive if there are tolls. This mainly pertains to the Eastern part of the country.

BTW, we toured your part of the world last year and loved it!

Andy and Linda,

Congratulations on your retirement... Wish I could join the retired ranks, but I still have a few years to go.

Getting on the Road.... GOTTA LOVE IT... CONGRATS!!!

Ozz, don't disappoint us. I guess you haven't installed the hitch connect and movement detector and automatic step retractor system yet? We'll need pictures when you do.

I would like to add a congratulations and an additional safety warning besides those given.

ANTENNA DOWN - I hook my ignition keys on the antenna crank up. The ring slips right over. It reminds me.

Happy trails.

Congrats and welcome to the club! We got out in December '08, and even though we are not full time or really even long time yet, our rig makes big impact on our lifestyle. We were up your way in the summer of '09, and can't wait to go back. One thing you will probably discover on this trip is that Wekiva Falls "Resort" is far from being a resort!! One trip there last year, and we will never go back! Wekiva State Park, on the other hand, is really nice.
