Mostly a Colt Defender 45. Sometimes a Ruger LCP .380. It depends on how I'm dressed. I qualify annually under H.R.218/S.1132 so I can carry nationwide.

38 speacial revolver next to bed and in the cab when we are on the move. The first 2 rounds are bird shot,if nessasary, the other 3 rounds are hollow points. Also have an old Sears & Roebuck 12ga short barrel pump, 10/22 with scope and a Marlin 22 rifle.

It is my personal opinion belonging to more than one RV forum that Rv'ers are among the best armed folks in the country.

We have handguns but can only carry to a range and to bring into the States we have to be invited to a shoot and apply for a special permit so we feel safe when we are camping with you.

Ruger 9mm with 2 full clips and a 32 Auto with hollow points.
Do you all think the rear hitch can support a trailer carrying my M1A1 Abrams Battle Tank? Just curious!

Why not just put the hitch on the tank and use it for the tow vehicle? HAHA Don't think you'd have to worry about road rage then!

We are very fortunate. We have never been in a situation where we needed to protect ourselves. We have never felt we needed to carry a firearm. everywhere for protection. Having said that we do have a CC and we do have a carry firearm as anything can happen to anyone at anytime. We have actually only carried a firearm on three occasions and both times we were in a area we should not have been in the first place. A firearm is never out of reach Home, RV, vehicle.

If that works for you.... Great!
Just remember 'when seconds count, the police are only minutes away"
Personally, I carry whenever I can... Ya never know. I do not go looking for trouble or intentionally put myself in questionable situations. I do like to be prepared. Lots of bad people out there. Never met any when I was camping.

I know that we would all rather be "Judged by 12 than be carried by 6", but what would it actually take for you to pull the trigger.

I do have a CHL, but almost never carry. But when traveling I do keep the S&W Governor handy with 410 #6 in the 1st two holes, 410 #000 buck in the next two, and 45 ACP in the next two.
I do have a S&W 9mm to carry if/when I want.

True, it seems the "crackheads" are getting more persistent these days or maybe it's my gray hair that they think they can take me now, who knows. Our last trip up north back in July we stopped at the Flying J in West Memphis and were parked out at the end of the parking lot to munch a little snack. Two guys pull up in beater and proceed to try and solicit funds from us for some BS reason. Hand was already down beside my seat around my .45. They were persistent and refused to move away from the side of my truck. Finally my wife told them "you are very close to being shot if you do not move away"..... Their tune changed in a hurry. They never showed or pulled any type of weapon which I am thankful they did not, but it was a good feeling knowing that if things escalated we were going home. It was a good outcome since I did not have to pull my weapon but the sad thing is they just moved on to someone else. Use to be if you said no once or twice these guys would move on, but seems they are getting more persistent and keep after you especially when you are off by yourself.

There is not doubt in my mind that I would pull the trigger if necessary. It would have to be what We considered to be a life threatening condition. That is "I felt my life was in danger". I do not take carrying a firearm lightly .I also do not feel that there is a threat around every corner or behind every bush.I could not live that way.We are more aware in Florida than here at the S&B as the drug issues is far greater in Florida.

I would question if it's lighter than my Baby Browning .25. Also have a Governor and an Airweight.
