Shower control

Our shower control is a single handle type. When it is fully on, the water is a bit too hot for my liking. To get it to the right temperature for me, I have to move it just a fraction. If I move it too much, the water is too cold.

Has anyone changed it our for a two handle type, or is this not possible?

Did not know they were putting in single handle fixtures. I am sure it can be changes out to a 2 handle one without to much trouble

Our 2017 3160RL Montana has a 2 handle fixture and it is much easier to control.

Yes it can be changed out for a 2 handle not hard at all and it works a lot better.

The problem with trying to get one from H\D is finding one with the shower hose connection. look on line mite be a better way or C\W

I looked at CW online as well as another store and could not find anything. Anyone have any ideas or pictures of one that was changed?

I had a smaller shower in my Cougar with the 2 handle control. They were knobs not levers. Bump one and either much too hot or much too cold. Finally found a 2 lever faucet at CW as nowhere else had anything with the shower hose connection. Don't look for metal either, no such thing made. On the Cougar I changed the bathroom sink to Moen.
The single lever in my HC is easy to adjust and stays where it is supposed to.

Bought my 2 knob shower off of Amazon and works fine for adjusting the water. And it was about 15 bucks.
