installing heat duct in bathroom
Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas. Does anyone know how to install a heat duct in the bathroom of a 2014 High Country 318RE. My coach did not come with one installed and the manufacturer has refused to authorize to pay for the install. Surprise, surprise!!!
thank you

Our unit has a duct we turn it off because it gets way to HOT
You may give some thought of just using a little Ceramic Electric and use as needed

Others have gotten to the furnace duct system and either removed a duct they felt they didn't need or tapped into one that had a lot of flow and then ducted it to the bathroom and installed a vent in the floor. Those that have original vents have a small round plastic vent and plastic ductwork under there. Not a really technical job, just an issue if you're a 2XL type of guy or larger. You'll find a number of us who have the factory model complaining about the noise. Because of what they used and the fact that the ductwork isn't secured to anything, when the furnace comes on you'll swear a small jet plane is warming up in the bathroom somewhere.

Addressing the noise issue, in ducting, every 90 ell turn reduces the noise by a good percentage, velocity is also reduced to a degree, but in this case, no biggie. Put 2 or more 90's in a duct supply line and ain't gonna wake no babies..

My '14 3150RL has the heat duct in the toilet room. It makes a large amount of noise but the heat provided is questionable. I just leave the door shut and don't hear it.

That's what we did, but didn't need it very often.
