Christmas Cactus?
I've been taking pictures around the park since the rain. In just a couple of days the rain has transformed the desert and it's plants and I'm trying to put together some before and after pictures. As I went around today I noticed that the Christmas Cactus' were in bloom. Here's some pictures: http://s1221.photobucket.com/albums/...tmas%20Cactus/

We had a Christmas cactus for a few years...always amazed me that it would always bloom shortly before Christmas...still amazes me!

Nice Pictures Dick -We are sitting here in MCCook Ne at 350am this morning a weather alert went off on DW phone that brought the big guy right out of bed I thought some one was stealing our P/U but it turned out to be a Blizzard Warning till 11pm tonite. Just starting to snow now about noon here. I think we better head for the land of Ozz maybe Tuesday of next week. Sure are getting anxious to try this new venture. Snow is to move in now and winds of 30 to 40mph.

We're on the opposite side of Phoenix from Ozz. Come on down it's a lot better here than there.

Nice pictures Dick, but I must say it is no substitute for a Douglas Fir.

The way things are going, you ought to pull out on the first day the roads are clear.
