On the road 365 days a year--no peeling graphics!
Wouldn't it be nice if Keystone wrapped the Montanas in their graphics like this RV is wrapped in the KOA graphics? I talked to the drivers of the rig, and they've been in rain, hail, snow, sleet, the blistering sun, etc. for over 2 years, and not a spot of peeling, fading, or cracking can be found on the rig. I'm not sure I'd want to pay for the cost of a total wrap, however!

So what kind of rig is that? BTW - it also looks like the TV is "painted" with a matching scheme.
I think it also helps that it is just one continuous graphic (or it looks that way). Since our Monty graphics have so many edges they dry out and weather over time while the centers of the graphics remain in tact until the graphics peel back and the centers now become the edge.
My Monty is stored with the front of the rig facing West. The south side of the rig is in much worse shape since it's exposed to the sun much more. Paint would last longer but I'll guess in time that the painted side would look worse than the side away from the sun, too. I appreciate that many MOC members work hard on keeping their graphics in shape, but I am not the type to bust my butt because Keystone didn't try as hard - some things yes, but not the graphics. This is only my opinion that may or may not be shared by others.
Last thing - it took several years before I noticed the peeling, cracking and the fading on my 7 year old rig. Maybe 2 years isn't long enough. Ask them in 4 to 5 years.

The rig and tow vehicle are one of KOA's "inspection teams" that drive around dropping in on KOA parks for quick inspections. Sometimes they spend the night, sometimes they are gone an hour after they arrive. Both the TV and rig sport the same KOA colors and graphics. I'm not sure what kind of RV is under that wrapping. I recognize the nose design (friends had one like that), but I can't remember the brand that uses that design.

Would be nice to see no more Graphic threads on here, but cost is probably the issue.

One thing for sure. They are NOT going to sneek up on a KOA park!

Met a couple about 3 years ago that had a brand new Grand Junction that they ordered with no graphics at all. They had an appointment for it to be wrapped to match their MDT tv which was VERY nice.

Years ago I saw another team in SE Michigan from the KOA offices, their rig was a Montana under all that yellow paint/graphics/whatever. I don't think it was a wrap at that time. I had a photo of that somewhere.

I like the idea of a wrap, but when I researched four "wrap" companies I found their warranties aren't any better than what we get right now on our Montanas:
3M designer vinyl fleet wraps typically last up to three years and come with a 36-month 3M warranty.
-ProWraps; Sacramento, CA
A quality wrap will last between 4 to 6 years on the vehicle depending on the treatment that has been given to it. The life of the wrap depends on many factors, including client preference and weather conditions.
-Raptor Wraps; Bay Area, California
The wrap comes with a 3 year manufactures warranty and 1 year on install.
–Gator Wraps; Southern California
Car Wraps installed with Avery Graphics Products are guaranteed not to fade, crack, or peel for up to 5 years in most locations.
–Avery Dennison CarWraps; Locations across the USA

Hi
I got 4 estimates. All material had a 5 year warranty and the installers warranty varied from 2 years to 5 years.
They are :
Adams Artworks Palm City Florida
Design A Sign Port Saint Lucie Florida
Signs Now Sebring Florida
One that I can’t remember that is located in Okeechobee Florida.
I am in Nebraska at this time so can’t go get the name.
