Feels really weird to be the biggest fish

Got to Albuquerque and we're staying at the Enchanted Trails. We love this campground. Nice size spots, good rates (Passport America and Good Sam), nice folks and a number of very old restored TT's on display. Got here this time and they're hosting a clinic for folks who own or want to restore vintage campers. The place is full of tiny pull behinds in many cases, if I had a back gate like a toy hauler, three of them would fit in the Monty. Some of the ancient pop-ups would fit in the bedroom with space left over. The strangest thing so far is the pickup that came in with an Airsteam slide-in (didn't know they ever made them) pulling a little white camper that looks like a small Casita. Turns out that was a fiberglass Airstream that was a prototype in 1955. Anyway, they are cool to see if you're in the area, but I wouldn't want to be traveling in something smaller than my bedroom.

I've got some, but it will be a few days before I've got the rest of my computer system out of storage. I'll post them when I get them on line.

We've stayed in that park a couple of times. Real close to Camping World, if I recall. Last time (a few years ago) we had not intended to stop there but found out our route to Moab, UT was blocked with new snow so we sat a few days at Enchanted Trails.

Safe travels to you on your trip home to Council Grove.

I have a friend who had a Montana. He got rid of it and got one of these tiny campers. He said all he needed was a place to sleep. He will be CAMPING in it all summer. Better him than me.

Added another couple pictures tonight. Little wooden home built like someone on this forum made, a cargo trailer with a pop-up fold out built into the side and an Airstream Class A. I'll post them as soon as I get my cables etc out of the cabinets. Steve, thanks for the well wishes and David I think we may miss the race. Our grandson called and if we keep going on Sunday we'll be at our home base in time to see our Grandson's last two baseball games of the season. Joyce is crushed, but for both of us grandkids come first. If this happens more often, I may have to buy one of those Class A satellite antenna's that will let me record as we go down the road, however.

That's why those things are called campers and the Montanas are called Recreational Vehicles. I have had tents bigger than those things. I definitely prefer to be able to stand up and move around in my RV or tent.
