FT and Warranty Issues
How is the best way to handle warranty issues while being a FT?
How do you Full Timers handle warranty issues while your living in it?

normally you will pay the service charge for coming to you. Cheaper than staying at hotel.

Keystone normally will require you to take it to a dealer for warranty work. If you have an extended warranty, use a mobile tech, you may likely, or maybe not, have to pay the service call charge out of pocket. Product warranties, for example Dometic for AC, generally cover all but the service charge.

The keystone bumper to bumper is one year. Vendor warranties vary in length. We had no problems with keystone during the one year warranty. We had a serious issue within the one year period in Quartzsite and Keystone Customer service service set us up with a Keystone dealer in Quartzsite and paid 100% for the repairs.
We have also had good luck dealing with the vendor warranties when on the road. We use the extended service contract and when following the stated guidelines have never had a problem.

We have always contacted Keystone Customer Service first and let them find us a place. Once, when there was no dealer near Deming, NM they authorized us to pay someone local and then they sent us a check to cover it.

Yes that is the wisest thing to do when on the road.
