Memory foam mattress

I just got off the phone with Bergad Mattress, ordered the 8"x72"x80"
mattress. They said 2 days to manufacture and two days to ship. They will also do the bottom corners with a 12" radius and make the Cool-Max cover to fit at no extra cost.

After only 19 nights on the factory mattress, it's sagging and very uncomfortable.

PatnRich, Just the other day on one of the other treads, I had mentioed that we have a 2010 3400RL with the King size mattress and so far love it. However, we've only slept on it about ten times so far. Looks like about nine to ten more nights, and we may have problems. So thanks for the info from Bergad Mattress. We maybe ordering one. About how many green stamps do they want for it, plus shipping? If you don't mind me asking?...Joe

Joe, We bought a 4inch memory foam topper from Costco for about $170. It has served us well for the last three years and we sleep on it every night. Maybe not your cup of tea but works for us and we didn't spend a fortune for it........I am 200 lbs and DW is Well she won't let me say but it is around a buck and a half....

We put a 2" memory foam on top of the stock mattress with a mattress pad on top of that and it still sleeps great. Have used it 97 nights now, about 2/3's of those on the memory foam.

Phil, Bill and Orv, Thanks for the suggestion of the memory foam topper. Right now as new as our mattress is, it's sleeping good. But from what I'm reading on some of the threads, it won't too long before we see a difference. Phil, that 4" sounds good, and when the time comes, that's probably the route I'll go..Joe

We are planning on changing our King to a Queen for more comfort and more room in the bedroom. We mentioned this is an earlier thread. We finally have stopped traveling for long enough to either have one sent or purchase locally. We are very interested in a foam mattress. I looked into Bergad and discovered it is an Internet only company -- can't go somewhere and lay on it. Would you please give us all a review after you have slept on your new mattress?
Thanks, Sharon

Another vote for a memory foam topper. We got ours from Overstock.com.

We used the topper for two years. It was still "sleeping" just fine, but we had trouble with it sliding around on top of the OEM mattress. I got tired of it and having to reconstruct the bed every morning (I tried several different fixes). Dianna got tired of the extra height added by the topper. So we opted for an eight inch memory foam. It was less than $800, custom fit and delivered. So after a year of daily use, we are sleeping happily ever after.
