New 3500RL
Today I saw the new 3500RL on rvtrader. A dealer named RV Connections in Panama City, Fl has one on their website. It does have the rear living room seperated from the rest of the coach by double french doors. The ad shows 12 pictures. It appears the fridge acess panel and the water heater acess panel are on the curb side of the rig and not under the awning. They list it as 36 foot and triple slide but I counted 4 slides. It looks great! You can acess the pictures at rvtrader.com and search for Montana 3500RL.
I feel a fever coming where's the asprin?

Either I'm doing something wrong in my search or it's no longer on the site. Thanks anyhow.

Steve go to rvconnections.com. On their site go to rv lot 1 and it is on page number 4 down at the bottom. It's still there. lists for about 52K. I don't think it is fully loaded.

Had you noticed it does not have the granite type counter tops in ther kitchen. The other problem I see is that although the door to the living area is very nice it does add extra weight.

Got it, jsnip42, thanks. They had this model at the tour we took while at the rally. It was a prototype model at that time as I understand it. The french doors were not yet installed on that one. Beautiful rig. I can't remember if this is the one that had the bedroom that Vicki said "she'd kill for" or not. It may have been one of the other models. Can't tell enough about this bedroom from the pictures on this site. The living room setup is great.

Glenn,
I am very impressed with the new 3500RL. Currently having the 3400RL, If I would have known this floor plan was coming out I probably would have waited. There are a few things I like about the 3500RL like the fact that the bath room sink is in the shower, watercloset area, not in the bed room area. You can close the curtain and have privacy in the bedroom area and still be able to use the bath and sink if you had guests over. I wish I could have seen more of the bed room area though. The other thing is I do like to stay up later at night and watch tv or a movie and having the french doors would be a nice way to help contain the noise if someone else is trying to sleep. I saw two things I did not like and one being that I have more counter space in my 3400RL, and sometimes I do like to sit at my table dinning table and do some work, and can still watch tv or talk with others in the living room area. The final thing I noticed about the new 3500RL is the rear slide is past the wheels on the enterance door side. My 3400RL has the fender flare that comes out with the slide. Have had to have that fender screwed back in twice now. Just thought I would put my two cents in. Good luck on your decision, I know I cant wait to see the new 3500RL in person.

I checked out the 3500 RL photos too. It does have four slides not three like the add. It looks very much like a PATOMAC 5er with the french doors. Of course the PATOMACs are much cheaper looking finish and fit. I did compare just a month ago before we got our new 3400. The added doors and walls do add weight and you loose, per my wife, some of the openess/togetherness with the living area if you are in the kitchen cooking. You also can't view the TV while you eat....man that is not good during football and NASCAR seasons. I am sure it will be a hit.

I still like my 3400 better. Saw a few things in the 3500 that were an improvement (china toilet, cupboard in toilet area) but for the most part I like mine better. Especially the kitchen area.

I totally agree Parrothead. Like the 3400 much better, and the ONLY improvement I see in the 3500 is the cabinet in the bathroom. Mine even came with the china toilet and we have much more counter space in ours.

I agree with Parrotheahd and FiretruckerWife - I think the floor plan better in our 3400. The wife likes our kithen plan much better and thinks the isolation with the french doors is not necessary.
