no hot water pressure in shower only

hi, maybe someone has had this happen. the hot water in the shower has such low pressure that the pump is coming on and off when showering. the kitchen sink and bathroom sink have perfect hot pressure, and the pump works fine. does anyone know what this may be, and where we should start. any help appreciated!

City/CG water hooked up or fresh water tank only? Silly question, but both hot water faucet and hand wand turned on full? Others will be along w/other ideas. Good luck. Look forward to hearing your solution.

hi, fresh water tank only. and this is how its always been, so this problem arose by itself with no new changes.

Maybe unscreww the shower head/wand and try. Find out if it's the wand/head or supply?

ok, we seem to have isolated it to the hose coming out of the shower faucet, going to remove it and purchase another. once removed, the pressure is good, so maybe there is some build up inside the hose, just need to see if a new one fixes the problem. thanks for your good ideas, capn chris!

You may want to just take it apart to see if there is a flow restrictor or debris caught in it?!! Yea, you've isolated the problem.

They do have a flow retrictor which you can remove. We purchased a shower head called a oxygenetic not spelling correctly will blast you against the shower wall. Others will come along with more info

Our Oxygenic fit right on and even into the holder on the wall. We do remove the hose when travelling and I had to put in two larger screws to hold the holder up but it works fine. The oxygenics really makes a difference, Oh we did put a shutoff valve between hose and shower head, got it at Lowes.....
