Microwave Question

This is our first time out with this new to us rig. The microwave doesn't get things really hot it just warms things up. Went to reheat up my coffee. Three minutes at 100 and still only warm. Does that mean it's going out or that's just normal.

When we first started out with our 2010 the microwave was as good or better as the model we had in our stick house. Coffee reheat was seconds, not minutes.

Definitely not operating correctly. If the original, may well be time to replace, deinstall/reinstall pretty easy. Plenty of choices out there.

Ours will heat a cup of water hot in 1 1/2 minutes.

Some might find this interesting.
52 years ago I was worked for a little company. There was an oven in the assembly room. I ask Ed the owner what it was. This oven looked like a regular home oven. Ed said it had an electron tube in it.
I ask what’s it for.
Ed you can heat water in it very fast. You can cook a chicken in 5 minutes.
I ask why don’t someone make them.
Ed they would be so expensive no one could buy them.
I found out later it was the original prototype microwave oven.

30 + years ago I was doing work for a company in Raleigh Nc. They developed a microwave oven that would heat a price of ceramic 4 inches in diameter and 4 inches long to white hot in 1 minuets. I had a 50,000 watts tube in it. A regular microwave oven will only heat water but with the right frequency they will heat ceramic. At that time our government was building a super collider in Texas and needed to coat the inside with diamond. This microwave oven was a part of that. The collider was cancelled and the company went bankrupt in a few years.
