New (Older) Montana owner

Just bought 2007 Montana 3075.
Bought it to live in back in July to live in full time
Could not find a park to get into for 2 months.
I live near Astoria OR and those months are fishing season.
Today is the first day I’m actually plugged in and have water and sewer.
Whoo Hooo.
No generator!
Looking forward to the site and forum

Congrats. Getting into an rv park at that time is same as trying to get into a park in florida during Jan to end of march. Took us a couple of years before we could get a six month site where we wanted to be in sw florida. Now it is just our travels during the other 6 months that challenges us. Hope fulltiming for you is as rewarding as it's been during our last 8 years.

Welcome. Two year wait in Florida to get a seasonal site in our Snowbird park.

I don't know if this is still active but we went to the KOA in Astoria a couple times this year. They're a little spendy but a real nice park. We were able to get in both times but it is hit or miss. Fort Stevens right across the road will take up to 60 foot lengths too.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of very good folks here.

We visited Florida more than once and after looking at the Snowbird crowds we have decided to purchase a private piece of property before we retire. The parks down there are insanely overcrowded during the winter. Good folks, just packed in like sardines.

We have some friends and are thinking maybe a parcel large enough for say 4 RVs with a common area in the middle setup. Winter there and then roam the rest of the country during the summer when we are not at our country estate in North Arkansas.
