There is no reason to change them out. The issue is they come loose if you don't check them periodically and re-torque them.

BTW: in your signature, Break should be spelled Brake. A break is what you take after tightening up your U-bolts. Brakes are what stops the trailer/truck after the U-bolts come loose!
