Corpus Christi - Naval Air Station
We arrived yesterday. As typical the wind is blowing with gusts to 20 mph, but hey, that's the start of South Texas.
We will be here until April 5th.
Anyone in the area, give a holler.

We sure will. I just need time to wake up in the morning. Earlene usually needs to Jump Start me.
We are in site 71, Shields.
111 and 112 must be the new Marina sites??

We were there in 2006 and yes it does and is windy. I think it was more windy there than the RGV (Mission, Tx.) GBY...

Ah! Surprise, surprise!
We stopped by Bill & Linda's today on our way to the PX. Bill was there, but the others were out Wally-World'ing. We visited with Bill for a while, interrupting his NASCAR race. They have a standing invitation to come see how the SOB's live.
He told me the Army Guy was in the park. His two spaces up from us and while Earlene was walking Miya, I visited with Rick and Jana (Hope I got that right). They are SOB'ers also. We will nto have any time to spend with them as they are departing in the morning. I invited Rick down to help me wash my RV, but he declined. Shucks!
It was a good day.

We had a great stay but left yesterday, did miss seeing Waynem - did see Rick and Jana. We are at Stone Creek RV Park, Schertz (north of San Antonio)but leaving tomorrow for Cedar Park outside Austin. Nice park here if anyone is traveling I-35.
Travel safe.

Lorraine,
While up in Austin, take a look at Oak Forest RV Park. When we were there they were Passport America for 1 week a year. Nice park.
Sorry we missed ya'll. Next time.

Oh! And I did get to say hi to '2wanderers' at NAS Corpus. Sorry I can't remember their names. They pulled in a day or so before we left and I ran into them as they were setting up and I was walking Miya.
So Hi again and glad we had that little meet.
