slide toppers
Does anyone know if it is possible to have slide toppers installed on a 2005 Montana 3675FL fifth wheel?

This question has been answered by looking at the rigs of other members posted within this website and see that slide toppers are installed on the 3685FL fifth wheel.

Eileen, I'm quite sure that this is possible, but you will probably hear from some owners who have firsthand experience with this addition to their Montana. Ours came with this option and we're glad it did. I think that Camping World can add them to your unit. Welcome to the forum.

We also had Campers World add the slide toppers to both our 2003 3655FL Montana and our current 2005 3475 Montana. They do good work.

We have a 3400RL and had Camping World install the slide toppers - BUT the person who ordered them at CW ordered the wrong sizes so we only got 2 of the 4 I ordered installed.
And in the process discovered that CW will NOT install a slide topper on the kitchen slide out due to vents etc. this is not mentioned in the catalog.
We really like the two we did get and will eventually get the other one installed.
Thought this might help. Just make sure they order the right sizes.

Had ours installed by the dealer as part of the purchase agreement. We had to wait for them to order them and then take it back for a couple of days. But I really like not having to climb up on the roof to clean the slides every time you move.

After reading all the post regarding the usefulness of the slide toppers we will order them on our 3400.They are a pricey option but we gave up the hi gloss finish for the toppers,Figured they were way more practical that the Hi gloss.

We have the 3400 and have them on all 4 slides. I don't understand CW not putting one on the kitchen slide.

Slide toppers are a must and you should get them as a priority. The next thing you need are the fold/roll up awnings on the large side windows. That is good option for installation in the future.

Rich, Think twice about the high gloss, it does make big difference in keeping the rig clean and good looking. The black streaks practically wipe off without effort.

If somehow we can get them into our budget before we have to write the check the Hi gloss is our 1st option on the list to add.

Slide toppers can be installed on any slide, as far as I know. We had them added by the dealer when we bought our first Montana. We had them added by the factory on the second Montana. They were identical.
We have the hi-gloss and I intend to never be without it on any future FW purchase. However, if finances dictate either hi-gloss or toppers I'd go with the toppers unless I figured I could swing the cost of adding the toppers at a later date. You can't add the high gloss later. Both items are personal preference items, however.
