Yes but I was really looking at the gradient effect in the coloring that we already have on the MOC bumper sticker.
Previous to the RVing thing I owned a number of boats over 20 years. In fact when we had the motel and fishing camp we owned 7 boats. The just plain black on white does nothing for me.

Looks really good, Glenn! How tall are the letters/numbers? Thanks.

They look very nice and I like the idea of putting them in the window. Don't like Bumper Stickers either.

How about those sticky numbers and letters people use on a house? They come in gold silver some other colors. Hardware stores have them. I have not looked at them lately but plan to look this week and see if I get an idea there.
I think the boat numbers and letters are very good idea.

We were going to go get some 8" lettering and adhere it to the front top of our rig, but then decided we don't want to put stickers on it.

An idea we came up with is to get some foam core board and cut it to fit a couple of our windows that slide open. Probably a window on each side of the Monty, and also a rear window.

Then we'll put our MOC number on the foam core boards using large self adhesive lettering.

If cut correctly, the boards will fit into the window tracks and will travel there comfortably. Having the day/night shades in the down position behind the boards will help insure that the boards stay in place.

We'll be able to have our MOC number displayed in large enough lettering so others passing us in the opposite direction on the interstate can easily identify us. The boards will be very lightweight, easy to display, easy to remove and store. This probably won't work for those who opted to have the very dark tint on their windows.

We had another idea how to display the MOC number but our Montana is in storage so we haven't been able to go test this yet. It would be to display the MOC number with self adhesive lettering on the edge of a rear ladder step. People traveling behind or next to the Montana would see it. We just can't remember if the shape of the steps will allow for lettering?

And lastly, we had a license plate frame made with our MOC number and the website address.

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
Where did you get the license plate frame? My Parrothead frame isn't working on the front of our new truck and I need to find something else.
Happy trails...................

One of the craft booths at the Reno "Best in the West BBQ Rib Cook-off" was making custom license plate frames for $15 each. So we had them make us one.

Office supply stores have 8-1/2" X 11" clear vinyl labels which can be used in computer printers. It could then be covered with a blank one for weather protection.
