Service work

I live in NE Okla exactly half way between Tulsa and Joplin Mo. I need to have the wheels repacked and a couple of minor things done. Any recommendations for a place that does good work would be appreciated! Thanks

Besides doing it myself, I have had this done at a full service tire shop like Discount Tire or Goodyear or even an RV shop that does suspensions. Just make sure they have the room for your rig!

You take your vehicle and trailer there (I made appointments after calling and confirming they could do it), then they jack up one tire or side and do them right there. I don't remember the cost and this was years ago when I was younger, made more money and it was quicker to have them do it. If you are familiar with the process and can watch them, that would be a plus.

I've been on I-44 and recall a few truck stops. I'm sure one of them could do it too.

I'm sorry I don't have a specific place to recommend where you live.

There's a heavy duty truck shop in Big Cabin. I've never used them, but they are an authorized Spartan dealer.

Ken, let the yellow pages do the (t)walkin'.

Suggest you start calling right there in Afton to repack the wheels or down the road to Claremore. I live in a small town and the tire dealer I rely on does alot of servicing to include rotating and balancing my rig tires to even repacking them. He actually let's me come to his shop after 5 PM when he is closed as his parking lot is too small during normal business hours. Hopefully you can find a tire shop closeby. Good luck.

These folks who dont normally service heavy fifth wheels, often dont know how to jack up the unit properly, and are not familiar with electric brake components. Recommend you keep an eye on that.
