They replace all 5 of mine with FREESTAR tires at no cost and no argument, only thing look at the tread of the MISSION and FREESTAR same tire. I think they renamed the tire and hopfully corrected the problem. Time will tell

Sailer, I have replaced my Missions also with the BFG's. I shifted a belt on one of them and replaced all 4 (saved the spare). I kept the four Missions hoping for a recall of some sort. Did you put in a claim with Tireco?
EM me if you wish.

My Mission tires failed in April on the way home from the RGV. They had 10k miles on them (07 3075). We left the tires with a dealer in AL and advised Tireco the next day as we continued home to Ontario. As we were unable to wait for upgraded replacements I had 4 Chinese made ST tires installed. Tireco picked up the tires and I received a cheque for $475 yesterday. It did not cover the cost of installation but I was pleased to recover most of the cost incurred. The tires are have the name Unicorn on then but are the same size and rating as the Missions. I suspect all these various named tires come out of the same factory and only time will tell if they will last. It is likely I will want to replace them soon and will definately consider an US made brand even if it means using an LT rather than an ST tire.
